Rehearse it out loud before it’s real.

Talk with patient AI tutors. They wait while you think, understand your accent and fix one thing at a time.

I want to speak
Take the 2-minute quiz

The quiz builds your speaking plan. You see every price, and the renewal price, before you pay.

One session, start to finish.

About twelve minutes. Hands-free, like a phone call. Do it in the kitchen, on the tram or in the corridor before the meeting.

  1. StartPick the momentTell your tutor what’s coming: an interview, a call, a dinner, a trip. The session is built around it.
  2. Minute 1Say it your wayNo button to hold. Your tutor waits while you think and never cuts you off, even when you stop mid-sentence.
  3. Minute 4One fix at a timeYou see what you said and a better way to say it. Then you say it again, until it feels like yours.
  4. Minute 8Run it for realYour tutor plays the other person: the interviewer, the client, her father. Start to finish, at your speed.
  5. Minute 12Arrive readyA short recap of what you nailed and the one thing to keep working on. Next time, your tutor starts from there.

It hears what you meant.

Every first language brings its own traps into English. Your tutor knows the usual ones for yours, lets you finish, and fixes one at a time.

First language: Spanish

You said

I am agree with the plan.

Say it like this

I agree with the plan.

“Agree” is already the verb, so it needs no “am”.

First language: Italian

You said

I have 32 years.

Say it like this

I’m 32.

In English you are an age. You don’t have it.

First language: Portuguese

You said

I’m here since Monday.

Say it like this

I’ve been here since Monday.

With “since”, English wants “have been”.

First language: French

You said

I live in Lyon since 2019.

Say it like this

I’ve lived in Lyon since 2019.

Something that started then and still goes on takes “have”.

First language: Polish

You said

I was in shop yesterday.

Say it like this

I was at the shop yesterday.

English needs the little words: “at” and “the”.

First language: German

You said

Can I become a coffee?

Say it like this

Can I get a coffee?

“Become” means to turn into something. You’d turn into a coffee.

Examples of mistakes speakers of each language often make.

Where people are headed.

Nobody learns a language for its own sake. They learn it for a Tuesday interview, a call with the head office, dinner with someone’s family.

Before you start

Can’t I just do this with ChatGPT?

You can chat with it. TalkBravely is built for speaking practice: tutors that wait while you think, are tuned to your accent, keep a list of your mistakes, plan each session around your real conversation and start next time where you stopped.

I’m a beginner. Is this for me?

Yes. Your tutor speaks slowly, explains in your own language when you’re stuck, and starts with short, everyday sentences. The quiz sets your level, and you can change it at any time.

What if I freeze or forget the word?

That’s the point of practising here. Your tutor waits, offers the first word if you ask, and never makes a thing of it. You can always say it in your own language and hear how to say it.

Which languages can I learn?

English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Portuguese, with British or American English and European or Brazilian Portuguese. A plan covers one language; all six are an add-on.

How much does it cost?

Your plan and its price come at the end of the two-minute quiz, with the renewal price right next to it. Nothing is charged until you have seen both.

How do I cancel?

In your account, in two taps, on the web or in the app. We confirm by email, and we remind you three days before any renewal.

Your next conversation starts here.

Say it here first. Then say it for real.
